Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, & Sat (Sun & Wed off) 10:30am-7:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage and closely monitor over 10 to 20 owner operators in a high paced LTL environment.
- Familiar with all California DOT transportation regulations.
- Have knowledge of all National and State DOT laws and regulations.
- Expected to perform at 99.5% on time performance.
- Ensure that work is distributed equally among all drivers.
- Understand all customer pick-up and delivery procedures.
- Drivers are to be reminded daily to drive safe and be aware of their surroundings at all times.
- Drivers are to be reminded periodically of all pick-up and delivery procedures.
- Be able to react to emergency or urgent situations as they occur and follow emergency and/or accident company protocol.
- Other duties may be assigned.
This job has supervisory responsibilities of drivers.

- High School Diploma with at least two years industry experience or Four years of relevant customer service or operations experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos;
Ability to write simple correspondence;
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume;
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form;
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. - Computer
Skills:
Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems. - Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. - Work Environment:
Noise level is usually quiet. - Pay Range: $20.00-$23.50 per hour.
