High School Middle School Special Education Teacher

• Valid 165 Comprehensive Special Education Certification required
• Experience working with middle and high school students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop IEPs and achieve educational goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
• Support positive classroom management and behavioral interventions
