Staff Accountant
Location: Danvers, MA (Hybrid - 2 days in office / 3 days remote)

Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 + 5% target bonus + 3% 401(k) match

Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in general ledger accounting who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and is looking to expand their skill set.

• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations as part of the month-end close process.
• Support general ledger accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
• Provide support for payroll processing (training will be provided).
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of financial and payroll information.
• Assist with ongoing accounting projects and process improvements.

• 3+ years of Staff Accountant or related accounting experience (not an entry-level opportunity).
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of AP and AR.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential financial and payroll information with discretion.
• Experience with Great Plains is a plus but not required.
