General Statement Of DutiesThe role involves providing general and overall administrative support to the Division of STEM & Business. They will provide support by coordinating scheduling and preparing materials for meetings, assisting with confidential evaluations, collecting and tracking of contractual forms, and providing office coverage.
Essential Functions- Coordinates the scheduling and preparation of materials needed for meetings, including taking notes and drafting materials.
- Assists with processing confidential faculty/staff evaluations along with other tracking processes required per the collective bargaining agreement.
- Review institutional semester reports to ensure students have the proper prerequisites for continuing to next level courses.
- Collects and tracks all contractual forms including syllabi from faculty for the Division. Provide outside institutions with requested syllabi from potential students for transfer review.
- Provides front desk coverage, greets guests, answers calls, and schedules appointments as needed.
- Monitors office inventory and equipment functionality and orders office supplies as needed.
- Prepares requisitions for supplies, buses, travel, reimbursements and facilities requests, frequently communicating with outside vendors and other NSCC departments (i.e., Fiscal Affairs, Human Resources, Facilities, Academic Affairs, etc.).
- Organizes CORI collection and processing for students.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Google apps (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Ability to politely and effectively communicate with co-workers, students, and the general public.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National Background Check as a condition of employment.
