Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within two years of employment.

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred: 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational‑technical school program.
• Preferred: ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.

Pay Range: $20.13 - $30.25 per hour. Flat‑rate pay structure based on predetermined amounts for each eligible task. Performance bonuses for ASE test passes.
