Position Overview

The Science Department n's Prep seeks a physics teacher for grades 11 and 12 to teach five sections. The role involves creating a dynamic, hands‑on learning environment where students engage with scientific principles through inquiry‑based exploration.

Responsibilities

Teach physics courses, conduct laboratory investigations, foster critical thinking, and guide students toward academic maturity while aligning with the school's mission of excellence and service. The teacher will support intellectual and personal growth by tailoring instruction to individual student levels.

Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in physics or related field.
  • 1-3 years teaching experience in high school or middle school science (desired).
Physical Requirements
  • Standing/sitting for long periods.
  • Adaptable to frequent position changes.
  • Hearing and speaking for communication.
  • Use of hands and fingers for manipulation and computer use; ability to perform first aid and CPR.
  • Adequate vision (close and distance).
