Middle School STEM/Technology Engineering Teacher – Holten‑Richmond Middle School

We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered Middle School Math Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate is passionate about STEM instruction, committed to building strong relationships with students, and dedicated to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and social‑emotional growth of all learners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide classroom instruction for grades 6‑8 in alignment with Massachusetts state standards for Technology and Engineering.
- Collaborate with the STEM and Science Departments to design and deliver engaging, explorative experiences that apply principles of science and technology engineering.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through interactive and inquiry‑based learning activities.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to support student learning.
- Support school‑wide practices and protocols to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in Project Lead The Way (PLTW) training modules to broaden student access to high‑quality applied STEM learning experiences.
- Valid DESE License – General Science (5‑8) and Technology/Engineering (5‑12).
- Sheltered English Immersion endorsement required or ability to obtain within DESE timelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science, or related field.
- At least two years of relevant teaching experience; preferred greater experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of middle school instructional practices and adolescent development.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.
- Experience teaching in a middle school setting and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
