Job Title
A part-time, hourly employee will serve as a member of our strength and conditioning program under the direction of the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.
Position Responsibilities:
- Implement training programs for teams, groups, and individuals.
- Provide education on healthy habits and decision-making related to exercise and nutrition.
- Support general upkeep of the fitness center.
- Help prepare the fitness center for daily lifts and assist in resetting the space following workouts.
- Be an active, engaged, and supportive coach.
- Contribute to strength and conditioning team learning and planning.
This is a 10-month position with daily hours from 6 to 8 am and 3 to 5 pm.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in exercise science or physical education-related fields required.
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) preferred
- American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing/sitting for long periods of time.
- Bending, lifting, pushing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to reach at and above shoulder height to access higher areas of equipment, etc. Must be capable of adapting to frequent changes in position throughout the workday.
- Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone.
- Use of hands and fingers for manipulation, and using computer keyboard, educational tools, play equipment, and perform first aid and CPR.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Salary Description $21-$30/hour education and certifications
