St. John’s seeks to hire a part-time Latin teacher to teach three sections of middle school Latin. One of the courses is a co‑taught class with a religious studies teacher on the history, culture, and stories found in the Gospels and the Roman Empire. The ideal candidate would be able to teach all levels of Latin language, literature, and culture, while using technology as a vehicle for learning gains.

We are particularly interested in candidates experienced with the ACL Standards for Classical Language Learning and familiar with the use of communicative and comprehensible Latin language teaching methods in support of traditional reading ability.
