We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. This role leads the development and execution of robust quality systems aligned with aerospace and regulated industry standards, supporting new product introduction and ensuring full compliance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 quality management systems
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturability and inspection requirements
  • Balloon drawings and develop detailed inspection plans and FAIR packages
  • Lead First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and manage PPAP submissions
  • Interpret and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards
  • Partner with engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues
  • Support NCR review, MRB activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in drawing review, inspection planning, FAI, PPAP, and GD&T
  • Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485
Preferred
  • Experience with aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
  • CQE, CQA, or related certification
  • Familiarity with SPC and MSA
