** A Day in the Life*
* As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will support the development, optimization, and sustainment of manufacturing processes that enable high-quality, life-changing products for our patients. Working under general supervision, you will apply engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance product performance, improve manufacturing methods, and reduce costs in a systematic and inclusive way.

** In this role, you will:*
* + Review and update manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies and equipment.
+ Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
+ Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
+ Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
+ May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
+ Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
+ Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
+ Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
+ Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
** Must-Have:
Minimum Requirements *
* + Bachelors degree and 2 years relevant experience
** Nice to Have*
* +
Experience with injection molding, assembly processes and fusing technologies.
+ Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
+
Experience with in medical device manufacturing.
+ Familiarity with basic statistical analysis or statistical software.
+ Experience supporting hands-on engineering work such as troubleshooting, equipment setup, or process experiments.
+ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, technicians, and production teams.
+ Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
