Your Role:

At Millipore Sigma, the Designer/Drafter 2 will work with a team of designers dedicated to generating/revising CAD drawings for quotes, prototypes and engineering change requests as well as supporting the Manufacturing floor as issues arise in assembly builds. The Designer/Drafter 2 is also in regular communication with Sales, Manufacturing, and other Engineering departments.

Generate and revise CAD drawings in Solid Works

Update bill of material and routing information in ERP system

Utilize additional software platforms including , EPDM, SAP, Oracle, MS Office, Man Go

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.)

1+ year of experience in Computer Aided Drafting

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials etc)

3+ years of experience with CAD Software OR internship with CAD software

Knowledge of , EPDM, SAP, Oracle, MS Office, Man Go.

Strong CAD skills, specifically in Solid Works with assemblies, exploded views, and detailed drawings.

Ability to solve problems of moderate scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

Ability to work on multiple projects, skilled multi-tasker, meet established deadlines, and follow up on requests for action or information.

Ability to learn new skills.

Commitment to customer satisfaction both internally and externally.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work semi-independently, with minimal to moderate supervision.

Strong sense of responsibility, urgency, enthusiasm, and high energy.

Ability to work in a team and cross function departments environment.

Pay Range for this position: $30-$48/hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
