- Pay or shift range: $90,000 USD to $110,000 USD
The salary range is based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications and geographic location.
McCue Corporation, a Bunzl company, is looking for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to lead the commercialization of innovative new products from engineering handoff through production release. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in bringing new products to market by partnering with Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams across our global organization.
Responsibilities- Own the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from engineering handoff through production release.
- Coordinate first article inspections with contract manufacturing partners.
- Serve as the technical liaison between Product Development and suppliers during product launches.
- Review engineering drawings and provide technical support on manufacturability questions.
- Lead cross-functional launch activities with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Transportation, Marketing, and Quality.
- Create and maintain new product data, item masters, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system.
- Coordinate product cost information, landed costs, and launch readiness across departments.
- Support supplier qualification and production readiness activities.
- Maintain standardized launch documentation, project timelines, and NPI processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve launch efficiency and product commercialization processes.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support supplier and customer activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in product development, manufacturing engineering, supply chain engineering, or New Product Introduction.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers or supplier partners.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional and global teams.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar.
- Experience with BOM creation, product setup, and engineering change processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier development, or product commercialization is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel approximately 5–10 times per year.
