We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support our operating room team and deliver exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist surgeons and nursing staff by maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout every procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses and surgeons during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties and maintaining strict aseptic technique
  • Prepare and set up operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for procedures
  • Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments and equipment efficiently
  • Monitor and assist with sponge, sharp, and instrument counts
  • Support patient positioning, transport, and comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize instruments in accordance with AAMI and manufacturer guidelines
  • Turn over and prepare operating rooms between cases and for the following day
  • Maintain inventory, stock supplies, and report equipment issues
  • Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
  • Assist with special procedures, demonstrations, and wet lab preparation as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an approved Surgical Technologist program
  • 1–3 years of operating room experience required; ambulatory surgery and orthopedic experience preferred
  • Knowledge of sterile processing, medical terminology, and clinical procedures
  • Familiarity with electronic medical systems and standard office software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to patient confidentiality
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with patients and healthcare professionals
