Recovery Specialist

Schedule:

8-Hour Rotating Shift (Day/Evening);
Must be available Wednesday to Saturday for call outs.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 8 Weeks Guaranteed

Hours:

72 Hours Biweekly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience working with substance use population is preferred
• Valid Driver's License in good standing preferred
• Must be separated from any affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observe and supervise clients and the unit; conduct 30-minute client well-being checks.
• Conduct telephone admission screenings and other admission duties.
• Search client belongings upon admission and discharge, or as directed.
• Complete necessary checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must have open availability and be prepared for last-minute shift notifications.
• Shifts may be scheduled ahead of time or notified 2 hours prior to the shift.
