Responsibilities
- Provides high quality, direct patient care in a team-based model
- Assists patient over the course of their visit
- Communicates clearly with patient and team
- Perform medical assisting duties under proper supervision
- Essential to Population Health efforts
- Monitors, orders, and/or maintains medical equipment and supplies
- Works within the electronic health record system (EHR)
- Schedules related diagnostic and lab tests
- Identifies OSHA compliance issues
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months clinical classroom experience.
- 0-1 years related work experience or customer service related experience in any field.
- Graduate from BILH Primary Care Clinical Assistant Training program preferred, or EMT Basic License preferred, or Phlebotomy Certificate preferred or, other healthcare training preferred.
