Recovery Specialist - Substance Use
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Guaranteed
Hours:
72 hours biweekly
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred
- Valid driver's license in good standing preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
- Observe and supervise clients; conduct 30-minute client well-being checks.
- Conduct telephone admission screenings and other admissions duties.
- Search client belongings on admission and discharge as directed by supervisor.
- Complete all necessary documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must be separated from any affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered.
- BILH coversheet required at time of submission.
