- Assist in the delivery of high quality, safe clinical care as a member of a high performing clinical team
- Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through a collaborative approach to patient care

- Take patient vital signs
- Document medical history in the EMR system
- Provide patients and families with medical information
- Help assure patient care is delivered in a timely manner
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) OR minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Critical thinking and good judgement
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
Demonstrates expertise in delivering high-quality clinical care, including taking patient vital signs, documenting medical history in EMR systems, and providing medical information to patients and families. Maintains strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities to enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency.
