Job Duties:

Develop machine learning algorithms to support clinical decision-making for Impella patients. Curate datasets by extracting information from Abiomed databases, free-text clinical source documents, and EMR-style records. Utilize time series data combined with other variables to train machine learning models relevant to critical care. Design analyses to evaluate the performance of these models. Author documentation and reports to support FDA submissions of Abiomed SaMD technology.

Leverage expertise in heart recovery to effectively communicate technical findings to a clinical audience. Requirements:

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Experienced Data Scientist-related occupation. • The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $110,000 - $121,000/year

_Additional Description for Pay Transparency:_ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.

Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
