July 5, 2026 to August, 21, 2026 (flexible) The Danvers Public School Seasonal Technology Support role assists the district's technology team in preparing classroom technology, student devices, and provide project support. This role involves hands-on work, including unboxing, auditing, cleaning, repairing, and deploying technology across multiple school buildings. The team members in this role must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with the team, depending on the task.

The candidates must be able to travel between school buildings on a daily basis.
Primary Responsibilities::
  • Device Cleaning, Testing, and Deployment: Test, clean, update, and configure operating systems on Chromebooks, as well as PC and Apple devices for student and staff use.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Unbox new equipment, inventory, and assign devices as directed.
  • Classroom Setup: Deliver and install computers, displays, and other technology to classrooms and administrative offices. Update and perform maintenance on existing equipment.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Perform basic repairs on student devices, such as replacing broken Chromebook screens, keyboards, and batteries (training provided).
  • Project Support: Assist the technology team with ongoing projects and provide support as requested.
  • E-Waste & Organizing: Assist in decommissioning obsolete equipment, organizing technology storage areas, and preparing old electronics for recycling.
  • Other duties as assigned by the technology team.
