Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 per yearShift: 8-4:30 PM Why you should apply to be Buyer:

- Planning and executing domestic and international procurement activities to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted production
- Managing inventory levels and replenishment planning; monitoring supplier lead times, costs, and order status
- Creating, issuing, and maintaining purchase orders, and responding to purchasing/planning exceptions by expediting, rescheduling, reducing, or canceling orders as business needs change
- Utilizing Advanced Planning System (APS) and data-driven analysis to forecast demand and determine purchasing requirements
- Negotiating with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules to achieve competitive costs and reliable supply
- Evaluating supplier performance and supporting qualification activities to reduce supply risk and develop second-source suppliers
- Maintaining production job orders within ERP/planning systems based on production schedules and customer requirements
- Identifying and resolving material shortages, supply disruptions, and purchasing issues
- Contributing to purchasing, inventory, supplier, and supply-chain performance metrics and identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Have an Associate degree or equivalent two-year post-secondary education in Materials Management, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or two or more years of related experience in purchasing, materials planning, inventory management, or manufacturing
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Are detail-oriented, accurate, and possess excellent follow-through
- Bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Are proficient with Microsoft Excel and have experience with ERP, MRP, or Advanced Planning Systems (preferred)
- Can work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Are authorized to work in the United States (employment visa sponsorship is not provided)
