We are searching for the best talent for a Global Training Leader. The position involves developing and implementing strategies to address the learning needs of our production organization and creating training solutions that meet short‑term and long‑term objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop the global training team, supervisors, and facilitators aligned with business scaling needs.
- Support hiring of new production employees by coordinating with production managers and supervisors regarding timing and headcount.
- Act as a liaison between hiring needs, contracting companies, and talent acquisition teams.
- Define and track training effectiveness using KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics; present reports to senior leadership.
- Coordinate cross‑functional training and hiring improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage the training department budget, optimizing trainer utilization, training centre resources, and equipment.
- Lead projects in the training area that support production scaling activities.
- Manage training budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
- Partner with other functions to design supervisor training programs supporting growth of production, logistics, and quality inspection leaders.
- Benchmark external solutions to enhance training processes and technologies.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to develop training that supports yield improvement and scrap reduction.
- Integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision‑making.
- BS in engineering, business, talent development; MBA or MS desired.
- 10 years related experience in manufacturing or training, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the medical device industry required.
- Ability to translate SOPs and technical processes into effective training.
- Proficiency in providing constructive feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
- Excellent communication of ideas and information.
- Model Johnson & Johnson values and culture as an ambassador.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP knowledge desirable.
- Judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.

Benefits and CompensationBase pay range: $122,000 - $212,750. Eligible for an annual performance bonus and long‑term incentive program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, group legal insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and a consolidated pension plan. Time off includes up to 120 hours of vacation, up to 40 hours of sick time (56 hours for Washington State residents), up to 13 holiday days (including floating holidays), and up to 40 hours of work, personal and family time per calendar year.
