Injection Molding Technician (LSR/Process & Tooling) Danvers MA 1st and 3rd shift | Full‑Time | Direct Hire | $30–$42/hr we are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Technician with experience in LSR molding, process optimization, mold setups, and/or tooling maintenance. This role supports the production of high‑quality medical components in a tightly regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience with injection molding machines, strong troubleshooting abilities, and familiarity with ISO 9001/13485 standards.
Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and optimize LSR and thermoplastic injection molding machines, including auxiliary equipment.
- Perform mold changes, setups, and adjustments to ensure stable, high‑quality production.
- Support overmolding, short‑run, and medical‑grade production requirements.
- Monitor molding parameters and make process adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
- Perform tooling maintenance, repair, and optimization to ensure reliability of molds and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/13485, FDA, and internal quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machine, process, and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production, tooling, and material documentation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and controlled‑environment (medical molding) best practices.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Injection Molding Technician (LSR or thermoplastic).
- Experience in medical molding or controlled environments preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of materials, including LSR, PEEK, Polycarbonate, ABS, PP, and other engineering resins.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality systems.
- Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, process, and tooling areas.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).li>
- Exceptional attention to detail and time‑management skills.
- Effective communication and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
