Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant, Internal Medicine

We are seeking a full‑time (40-hour) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team. The position includes 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of administrative time each week, with an expected patient panel of at least 300 patients. Once this panel size is achieved, the schedule will transition to 32 hours of direct patient care and 8 hours of administrative time per week.

In the Danvers office, you will practice autonomously and fully utilize your education and clinical training while working as part of a highly collaborative and supportive team.

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
• Consistently provides high‑quality and timely documentation, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate to the patient population.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions in accordance with organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.

• Education:
  
  Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Licenses and Credentials:
  Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN‑NP) – State License required.
• Experience:
  
  0–1 year as a Nurse Practitioner preferred; a minimum of three years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a primary care setting required.
