Registered Nurse – Addiction Recovery
Schedule:
- Shift: 6 hours per day
- Days:
Saturdays and Sundays
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 20 weeks
- Guaranteed
Hours:
72 hours biweekly
Requirements:
- Must have a valid nursing license.
- BLS certification required.
- Must be separated from any affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Monitor patients for post-acute withdrawal symptoms and manage co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Oversee self-administered medications and provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Lead psycho-educational groups, teaching relapse prevention strategies and healthy living skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans and assist with aftercare planning.
- Ensure a safe and structured environment, including conducting drug testing and compliance checks.
