RN Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our evening shift team at Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Danvers, Massachusetts. As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing operations, providing optimal quality of care, and adhering to our facility's policies and procedures. Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on assigned shift to maintain continuity of nursing care
- Interpret and enforce nursing policies and procedures with staff, families, and visitors
- Make rounds on nursing units to ensure maximum care and communicate with families
- Respond to emergencies and provide medical oversight
- Verify physicians' orders and ensure accurate documentation
- Secure pre‑admission reports and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
- Conduct chart audits and monitor IV program
- Assist in recruitment, selection, and orientation of nursing staff
- Participate in meetings and assume other duties as assigned
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Massachusetts
- Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred
- CPR certified
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and follow oral and written instructions
- Fluent knowledge of MS Office suite and other office equipment
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day and perform physically demanding work involving frequent bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders
- Works in an appropriately lighted and ventilated environment
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
