Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to join our team. As a leader in the healthcare industry, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a Director of Nursing, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring the highest standards of care and quality are maintained.

About the Role:
  • Leading a talented team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Collaborating with physicians
    , therapists, and other departments to ensure interdisciplinary care plans are developed and implemented

  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including patient assessments, care plans, and treatment progress

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards

  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and professional development

  • Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations

  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff

  • Foster open communication and collaboration among nursing staff, other departments, and physicians

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality care and patient safety

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights and dignity

Requirements:
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
