Job Overview

The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high‑energy environment. You’ll make the customer experience quick, easy and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they’re looking for. Multiple roles are available in Sales, Cashier, Stock and/or Fulfillment departments.

• Sales & Cashier: Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor;
  Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as our Nordstrom Rewards program;
  Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed;
  Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway‑ready through re‑merchandising and straightening throughout the day;
  Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience;
  Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment;
  Defuse customer situations and provide timely, effective resolutions.
• Stock & Fulfillment: Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments;
  Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards;
  Prepare and ship customer orders following packing and shipping standards;
  Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research shipments in accordance with inventory control processes;
  Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms;
  Provide general support to the store (e.g., setting up special events, organizing the backroom, markdowns, relocating store fixtures).

• Organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

• Be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds (Stock Support or Fulfillment role).

• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Hourly: $18.15 – $18.85
