Associate Clinical Consultant – Naples, Florida
We are searching for the best talent to support clients and patients in the Naples, FL territory. As part of the Cardiovascular team, you will demonstrate the value of the Impella® product portfolio to physicians and hospital staff, advising interventional cardiologists and surgeons in patient selection, partnering on training, and attending implants.
Responsibilities- Improve patient outcomes through education and medical staff interaction, including clinical demos and ongoing training for new and existing accounts.
- Collect clinically relevant data, complete outcome reviews with customers and communicate activities with other team members and sales counterparts.
- Acquire and demonstrate a working knowledge of the product portfolio and develop an extensive understanding of all applications.
- Attend implants and consult physicians and staff on appropriate use and applications.
- Utilize Integrity Selling to change the standard of care and drive usage of Impella with physicians.
- Set up 1:1 physician meetings and host physician and staff dinner programs with strong attendance and content.
- Collaborate with sales counterparts on awareness programs and activities in franchise.
- 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or Regulatory Technology patient support in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab or Cardiovascular OR.
- 2+ years of commercial sales experience related to products and technologies utilized in the cardiovascular space.
- Ability to advance the sales process with customers.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Availability to take calls for emergent patient care.
- Experience delivering demonstrations and successful trainings.
- Ability to travel 50% within territory.
- Conduct duties in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry.
- Hands‑on Impella support experience.
- Experience as an Abiomed per diem.
- RN license.
- ECMO experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to advocate with physicians.
- Experience delivering clinical training.
