Licensed Journeyman Plumber

Overview

We are seeking motivated Plumbers to join a dynamic team at Cranney Home Services.

• Monday—Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Install)
• Tuesday—Saturday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Higher‑paying shift)
• $40–$50 hr + spiffs (DOE). Weekly pay.

• Maintain accurate stock list

• Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems per specifications or plumbing codes
• Ensure client satisfaction, including cleanup
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, fittings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, fixtures such as sinks or toilets using hand or power tools
• Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, pre‑assembly, or installation
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
• Conduct appropriate tests to ensure successful completion of each plumbing job

• Massachusetts Journeymen Plumber License
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• 5+ years plumbing experience
• 2+ years running own calls
• Extension plumbing knowledge: gas, boilers, and ability to troubleshoot
• Plumbing layout knowledge – "how it works, how it's connected"
• Tech proficiency (tablet)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team
