Generator Service Technician

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Generator Maintenance & Service Technician to support our growing Generator Division.
Previous generator experience is not required
. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow established processes and direction.

Pay: $18.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience + commission opportunities

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:30am to 4:00pm

What You Will Be Doing:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on residential standby generators.
Complete inspections according to manufacturer recommendations.
Change oil, filters, spark plugs, batteries, and other maintenance-related components.
Document maintenance findings accurately.
Identify potential concerns and communicate recommendations to customers and management.

What We Are Looking For :

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, propane, automotive, small engine repair, landscaping equipment repair, or related trades

Basic understanding of engines and mechanical systems
Experience working in customers' homes

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
