Generator Technician - Residential Service | $32.00 - $40.00 + per hour
Depending on experience, plus commission opportunities
Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 7:30am to 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities- Conduct service and routine preventive maintenance on residential standby generators
- Installing new generators
- Training and mentoring entry level technicians
- Perform inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Replace oil, filters, spark plugs, batteries, and other maintenance components
- Accurately record service and inspection results
- Identify maintenance issues and communicate recommendations to customers and supervisors
- Ensure generators are operating safely and efficiently

- 5 + years of experience servicing, maintaining and installing generators
- Able to coach and train entry technicians
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- General Certified is ideal - but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to develop new skills
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, propane, and oil a plus!
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
