A leading medical technology company is seeking a Dev Ops / Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Danvers, MA. This is a 3-day-per-week onsite position supporting the development and deployment of advanced medical device software. The role will focus on CI/CD, Dev Ops tooling, embedded software development, and automation using technologies including Git Lab, Jenkins, C, Python, Bash, Linux/QNX, Jira, and JAMA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to work at the intersection of Dev Ops, embedded software, and medical technology. The ideal candidate will have the technical depth to architect and improve CI/CD pipelines while also working closely with software and embedded engineering teams.
· B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or another engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
· Strong experience designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
· Hands-on experience with Git Lab and Jenkins
· Strong programming/scripting experience with C, Python, and Bash
· Experience with Linux, QNX, or other Unix-like operating systems
· Experience with Dev Ops tools for CI/CD, infrastructure management, logging, compliance, and security scanning
· Experience architecting scalable and reliable software deployment solutions
· Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
· Experience identifying process gaps and implementing technical improvements
Desired Skills & Experience· Medical device industry experience

· Experience with Jira and JAMA
· Experience migrating or managing Dev Ops tools and workflows
· Experience with software compliance and security scanning
· Experience working in regulated engineering environments
