About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking an experienced violin/piano instructor to teach at Reeder Music Academy, Danville, CA. Candidates should instruct in person and may also teach additional instruments.
Studio availability:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Consistency in class scheduling is valued; candidates with greater availability are preferred.
Instructor pay: $35-$40 per hour.
Responsibilities- Provide one‑on‑one instruction to students in violin and piano.
- Set own availability within the studio hours and maintain consistent scheduling.
- Maintain punctuality, reliable attendance, and pass routine background checks.
- Strong music background, demonstrated by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Loves teaching and has experience working with young musicians.
- Strong sense of punctuality and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
