Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring Camp Counselors & Coaches to work with young campers ages 4–6 across the Bay Area. This role is ideal for educators who love working with young children and want to spend their summer outdoors, active, and making a positive impact
.

• Continue working with children in a fun, outdoor environment
• Use your classroom management and early childhood skills in a camp setting
• Monday–Friday schedule (no nights or weekends)
• Stay active while teaching and mentoring young campers
• Build additional experience in youth development and recreation

As a Camp Counselor for ages 4–6, you will help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where young campers are introduced to baseball and softball through age-appropriate games and activities
.

You do not need advanced sports experience—we provide all training and curriculum.

• Supervise and engage campers ages 4–6 in small group settings
• Lead age-appropriate games, activities, and basic sports instruction
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Support camper social development, teamwork, and confidence
• Manage transitions, routines, and group behavior
  
  Communicate positively with campers, parents, and staff
• Collaborate with Site Director and fellow counselors

• Experience as a preschool teacher, daycare teacher, or early childhood educator preferred
• Experience working with children ages 3–6 (required)
  Background in early childhood education, child development, or teaching is a plus
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Patient, energetic, and nurturing personality
• Reliable and dependable

• Camps run weekly from June 8 – August 14, 2026
• 3–5 week commitment preferred

• $19.50–$25.00/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Work outdoors with young children
• No nights or weekends
• Free tickets to select San Francisco Giants games
