This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispensing Optician located in Danville, CA. The Dispensing Optician will engage directly with patients to provide optical solutions, including assisting with eyewear selection and adjustments. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding prescriptions, ensuring accurate fitting and adjustments of eyewear, performing basic eye exams under supervision, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing their needs promptly and professionally.

• Knowledge of optics and eye care, including understanding prescriptions and assisting with eyewear adjustments
• Experience in customer service and a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
• Basic understanding of optometry and the ability to assist with eye exams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures meticulously
• Previous experience in an optical or healthcare setting is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in optometry or optical dispensing are advantageous
