Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Punchlist Carpenter to join our team in Danville, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented craftsman who takes pride in high-quality finish work and can efficiently complete final-stage construction tasks to prepare projects for client turnover.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete residential and/or commercial punchlist items with precision and efficiency
- Perform finish carpentry tasks including trim, baseboards, casing, doors, and hardware adjustments
- Repair minor drywall, paint touch-ups, and caulking as needed
- Adjust cabinets, drawers, and installed fixtures for proper alignment and function
- Identify and resolve quality issues to meet project standards and deadlines
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams regarding progress and issues
- Proven experience performing punchlist work in construction (residential or commercial)
- Strong finish carpentry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks without supervision
- Must have own tools required for finish carpentry and punchlist work
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to job sites
- Ability to read basic plans and follow scopes of work
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Experience working on high-end residential or tenant improvement projects
