Teacher Aide

Duties

Schlarman Academy is searching for a suitable candidate to fill the role of Pre-K Classroom Aide for the upcoming  school year and beyond. An ideal candidate will have good communication skills, and be highly organized.

* The teacher aide will contribute to the community of faith of the school and provide faith leadership to students.

* The teacher aide assists with effective classroom instruction based on students' needs.

* The teacher aide assists with implementing teaching plans and helps conduct classes in a manner which promotes student learning.

* The teacher aide assists with student discipline so that learning goals can be accomplished, helps to organize classroom routines and schedules, and assists with recordkeeping.

* The teacher aide interacts with students/parents in a positive manner.

* The teacher aide performs other tasks and undertakes other responsibilities necessary to provide quality education in the school as requested by the principal.

Qualifications

* FBI Fingerprinting, CANTS, Safe Environment Training.

* Demonstrate the teachings and beliefs of the Catholic Church
