Hiring for an Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems and control panels for boiler and chiller equipment.
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Select electrical components and ensure designs meet applicable industry codes and standards.
- Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support during manufacturing and testing.
- Maintain engineering documentation and assist with design changes as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical design engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience designing electrical systems, controls, and wiring schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and component selection.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD software.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with boiler, chiller, HVAC, or industrial equipment is a plus.
