Overview
Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for an NDT Level II Radiographic Inspector for 3rd shift. NDT Level II Radiographic Inspectors are responsible for the verification of aerospace part specifications utilizing x-ray and other inspection equipment.
Responsibilities- Use of x-ray and inspection equipment to complete final and in-process product inspection to DMS and customer requirements
- Maintain lab and inspection records
- Daily use of computer programs, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and IFS
- Daily communication with employees at all levels of the organization
- Daily housekeeping/6S duties
- Lifting up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Walking and/or standing 8 or more hours per shift
- All other duties as assigned
- Prior education, experience, or certification in x-ray, manufacturing inspection processes, or related field is preferred - required training for applicable certifications will be provided to selected candidate
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred
- Prior experience with blueprint reading is preferred
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and detailed-oriented environment
- Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00/hour (prior to successful certification completion)
