Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN), House Supervisor – Days

Schedule:

3–12 hour shifts, 7A–7P

Location:

In-Person, Danville, Vermont

Sign‑on bonus: $20,000 eligibility.

• Assess patient acuity and implement staffing plans based on acuity, census, and available staff.
• Lead patient care team on assigned shift, complete leadership rounds, assess unit patient requirements, and make patient/room/bed assignments.
• Serve as resource for staff to solve clinical or operational problems.
• Document and communicate incidents to appropriate manager/director; report significant incidents and problems to administrator‑on‑call.
• Manage staff discipline while on duty; monitor work performance and offer solutions for improvement.
• Create and foster an environment encouraging professional growth.
• Integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

• Valid VA RN license (or compact state) required.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
