Your Responsibilities

The Product and Process Reliability role is instrumental in driving quality excellence across all plant programs, serving as the primary Quality representative for project-related activities. This role focuses on ensuring quality throughout the entire supply chain, from initial supplier engagement to internal processes and final customer satisfaction, fostering a cradle-to-grave approach. Key responsibilities include overseeing and improving quality standards, managing and implementing change requests and associated initiatives, and ensuring that critical Quality documentation, such as control plans and FMEAs, are consistently maintained, updated, and aligned with evolving project and customer requirements.

Through proactive collaboration and strategic oversight, this role supports the delivery of high-quality products while driving continuous improvement across all quality-related processes.

Key Deliverables:

  • Ensure quality across the entire supply chain, from supplier to customer, by establishing and maintaining robust quality standards and ensuring seamless integration of quality practices throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Quality documentation, including Control Plans, FMEAs, and other key documents, ensuring alignment with project requirements, process changes, and evolving customer expectations.
  • Implement APQP and PPAP processes to ensure smooth product launches while meeting customer and regulatory quality requirements. Integrate quality into design and manufacturing processes, defining key KPIs and proactively addressing risks before production.
  • Oversee and manage change requests and related quality initiatives, ensuring that all changes are implemented effectively while maintaining product and process integrity and meeting quality standards.
  • Ensure structured change control processes, validating engineering and process modifications to maintain product quality and consistency. Partnering with the worldwide Change and Series Management team to standardize change implementation, monitor production performance, and integrate lessons learned for future improvements.
  • Manage product and program related documentation in product lifecycle tool, ensuring that they are updated and available for the whole organization, following Dynamic Components guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product and process reliability, leveraging data analysis, best practices, and feedback loops to identify opportunities for enhancement and ensure consistent performance.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements, through regular evaluations, inspections, and adherence to applicable industry and organizational quality frameworks.
  • Lead customer complaint resolution using 8D methodology, ensuring root cause identification and sustainable corrective actions. Act as the primary customer quality contact, fostering transparency, conducting regular reviews, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Identify and address quality risks throughout the product lifecycle, proactively implementing preventive measures and risk mitigation strategies to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues, ensuring that root causes are effectively addressed, and long-term improvements are sustained.
  • Drive supplier quality development and performance improvements, working closely with suppliers to align quality expectations, resolving non-conformance issues, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your Profile

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality functions within the automotive industry or related areas. In lieu of degree, 5-7 years of direct experience.
  • Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, OEMs, or employees of organization.
  • Technology: Microsoft Office Suite knowledge; SAP/ERP knowledge preferred. Working knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP-PPAP, FMEA, MSA, 8D, Statistics, GD&T and mechanical manufacturing processes.
  • Travel: Occasional travel, up to 10% including international
