Heavy Equipment Operator

Now hiring for Heavy Equipment Operators in Danville, IL!

Trillium Staffing is now looking for Heavy Equipment Operators for a local recycling company.

Work schedule of the Heavy Equipment Operator is Mon-Fri 6:00 A.M.

-4:30 P.M. and pay rate is $16.00/hour. Steel toe boots are required.

Job duties of the Heavy Equipment Operator may include using a mobile crane or operating a yard truck to move material from one location in the yard to another. The employee in this position will load and unload trucks as well as handling material for processing. The employee will need to have the agility to climb in and out of the equipment as necessary.

May also be asked to assist in performing routine preventative maintenance on the equipment. This position reports directly to the yard foreman or manager and will work closely with other heavy equipment operators in feeding their processing equipment.

Qualifications
-Ability to pass all preemployment screenings

-Ability to work safely/alone in highly congested areas
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
