Qualifications:
  • Completed Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Solid understanding of special education processes and legal requirements
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
  • Flexibility to travel between school locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments to support student learning and well-being
  • Develop data-driven recommendations and collaborate on IEP teams
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to deliver evidence-based supports
  • Participate in the implementation of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
  • Contribute to crisis prevention and intervention efforts, fostering safe and positive school climates
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines
