Position Title
Traffic Coordinator
Responsibilities- Prepare all Dangerous Goods Shipments (Hazmat), both domestic and export, including completing paperwork and ensuring shipments are marked, labeled, and conform to legal requirements (DOTCFR
49, IATA, and IMDG regulations) for the selected mode of transportation. - Prepare all required export and customs paperwork, including Commercial Invoices and Shipper’s Letter of Instruction, for all export shipments.
- Prepare shipping paperwork for all shipments not routed by the standard default carrier or account number combination (different account number, special carrier requests, or other customer requirements).
- Perform daily carrier close‑out procedures required to trigger invoice billing processes to dealers and transfer tracking information to the business system.
- Handle day‑to‑day scheduling of carrier delivery and pickup appointments, including regularly scheduled carriers and special requests due to customer or business needs.
- Review and resolve freight bill exceptions as reported by the third‑party freight bill audit and payment company.
- Provide assistance with all traffic and shipping‑related inquiries from internal and external customers.
- File and archive logistics records in accordance with company policy, including records retention and approved disposal at the end of the retention period.

High school degree or equivalent.
Skills, Experience & Abilities- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to successfully pass and maintain required certifications for Hazmat (DOTCFR
49, IATA, IMDG). - Ability to coordinate and schedule carrier deliveries and pickups.
- Ability to manage documentation and shipping paperwork accurately.
- Ability to resolve freight‑related discrepancies and exceptions.
Perform other administrative duties as required.
