Ready Mix Concrete Driver

Responsibilities

• Skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of ready-mix trucks.
• Deliveries will be made in both industrial and residential areas.
• Driver responsible for efficient working condition and cleanliness of equipment and expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Drivers will be expected to assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment in and around the ready-mix plant as per supervisor's instruction.
• Extensive contact with the customer requires honesty, high level of integrity, reliability, good work ethic and positive attitude.
• Demonstrates commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment and areas.

• Class A or B CDL is required.
• Current DOT physical.
• Safety minded attitude.
• Good driving record.
• Submit for a criminal background check.
• Clear Drug/Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Pass a DOT drug screen (pre-screen).
• Pass a Pre-Employment Physical Assessment.
• Spanish speaking or bilingual is a plus.
