Warehouse Selector

Sysco is currently looking for a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Selector (Day) to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial as Sysco continues to be a global leader in distributing food products to a variety of clients including restaurants and educational facilities. As a Warehouse Selector, you will be at the heart of operations, directly impacting the delivery and satisfaction of our customers by ensuring they receive the correct products in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick product orders for shipment ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
• Use electronic devices for scanning and processing products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment complying with safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist in physical inventories, ensuring compliance with company policies and laws.
• Handle products and operate equipment in a manner that minimizes damage and ensures safety.

Required Skills

• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
