- Full-time (80 hrs biweekly) minimal travel
Job Summary: To serve patients, visitors and associates through prompt, courteous and effective collection of cash receipts as well as being a customer relations ambassador for the Business Office.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Opens and sorts mail distributing it to the proper associates and endorsing checks for payments received.
- Post cash receipts, discounts, co‑pays, co‑insurance, and deductibles accurately and timely for payments received.
- Greets Business Office customers and assists them in directing them to the proper associate to address their need.
- Accepts over‑the‑counter payments from our customers.
- Reconciles daily cash received with posted receipts and resolves discrepancies.
- Meets hospital mandatory minimum performance standards.

Education and Experience
Required:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with special emphasis on office skills being preferred.
