Position Overview
This position is responsible for the maintenance of our petroleum tanks. This role will be responsible for fixing any issues that may arise with a tank and ensure safety rules and regulations are followed in accordance.
Duties and Responsibilities- Install and set petroleum tanks and equipment as well as provide removal of tanks
- Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Deliver fuel as required
- Understand and safely operate equipment and vehicle assigned
- Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain positive communication with the supervisor and customers as needed
- Properly complete necessary paperwork and records
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of equipment, building, and grounds
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Class A CDL
- Haz Mat endorsement or ability to obtain, and acceptable driving history
- Mechanical knowledge
- Ability to obtain required certifications
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Willing to work extended hours and possible weekends during peak seasons
- Ability to walk a mile, climb steps/ladders and lift up to 75 lbs
- Bending and climbing in and out of the truck
- Ability and willingness to work outside in both hot and cold conditions
