Salary Range: $21,666.00 To $30,332.00 Annually
POSITION SUMMARY:
Receives and pays out money. Keeps records of money and negotiable instruments involved in various banking and other financial transactions. Provides excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Receives deposits; verifies cash and endorsements; issues receipts.
2.Cashes checks and pays out money upon verification of identification and customer balances.
3.Accepts non-cash items for collection.
4.Sells money orders and official checks.
5.Bags coin; verifies currency; mixes new currency; and segregates mutilated currency.
6.Assists in opening night depository bags.
7.Manages and balances cash fund in a neat and efficient manner.
8.Provide professional customer service.
9.Cross-sell products/services.
10.Take loan payments.
11.Cross trained on other duties within the branch/location.
12.Process daily transactions through Branch Capture.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
2.May balance and service ATM or ETM machines.
3.May open new accounts (full service locations).
4.Answer all incoming phone calls within 3 rings.
5.Performs Job Duties in Accordance with all appropriate laws and regulations to include BSA.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to speak English and hear. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers to handle transactions as well as stand (75% of day). Occasionally it is required for the employee to bend, kneel or crouch (10% of day), walk (10% of day) and climb and balance. The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds to perform their job.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1.Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
2.Has two years' experience as a teller or a comparable position in the customer service/retail industry.
3.High School Diploma.
4.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5.Ability to use office equipment including (but not limited to) calculator, computer, etc.
6.Periodic updates on bank products and services for cross selling.
Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:15pm, Friday 8:00am-6:15pm, Hours subject to change to 9:00am-5:15pm, Saturday 8:45am-12:15pm,
